Framework and Language Portfolio Special Interest Group (FLP SIG) in JALT

In recent years there has been a vivid discussion in Japan about language learning curriculums and frameworks, especially the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) and the European Language Portfolio (ELP).

Since forming the Framework and Language Portfolio Special Interest Group (FLP SIG) in JALT in November 2008 those present sought had gathered interested individuals to garner ideas, discuss developments, and coordinate efforts.

Since September 2015 the regular JALT membership includes one free SIG membership of choice and one free Chapter membership of choice. You can also use the form at the back of the JALT publication The Language Teacher and join.

By paying this small fee and being included as an official member of the SIG on the JALT database will help the SIG become more prominent in the organization and enjoy greater benefits/involvement in events. Please support FLP SIG.
